Connect AI agents directly to Thrive with the Model Context Protocol.

What Thrive MCP is

Thrive runs an MCP server at https://jointhrive.org/mcp. MCP and the REST API are two ways into the same Thrive capabilities, sharing one permission system.

How it works

  • Transport: Streamable HTTP (stateless JSON responses).
  • Auth with an MCP connection key: same scopes, rate limits, idempotency and audit log as the API. Tools outside the key's scopes are hidden and refused.
  • Auth with Thrive sign-in (OAuth): notes, price alerts, saved items and classrooms tools, acting as you.
  • Connected outside apps (Gmail, Plaid, …) are never exposed through MCP.
